beautiful Lake Champlain in the heart of the magnificent
Adirondack Park. We are
- 5 hours north of New York City
- 5 hours west of Boston
- 2 hours north of Albany
- 2 hours south of Montreal
- 1 hour north of Lake George
- 1.5 hours north of Saratoga
- 1 hour west of Burlington, Vermont via the Champlain
Bridge, 4 miles south of Port Henry or the Lake Champlain
Ferry which docks at Essex, NY - 12 miles
north of Westport
Directions:
From I-87 (The Adirondack Northway) take exit 31 turning
right on to 9N, go 4 miles east to the Essex County fairgrounds
(red roofed buildings on your left). Just past the
fairgrounds, turn left on Sisco Street and proceed approximately
1 mile to stop sign. This is Champlain Avenue (Rt. 22).
Turn left and go 1/4 mile to the motel located on the right
(just past the NY State public boat launch.)
From the Champlain Bridge, take Route 9N & 22
north (through village of Port Henry) approximately 12 miles to
Westport. In Westport, continue on Rt. 22 north and go approximately
3/4 mile.
From the Lake Champlain Ferry at Essex, NY
take Rt. 22 south approximately 12 miles to Westport.
